Just trying to complete all of the assignments being thrown at me! I'll update more later!

sorry, all of my entries lately have just been homework assignments. With my summer vaction here allready, (First year of college over!!!) there should be more interesting pieces coming.

Wow, so I just started school at Utah State University this fall! I'll be updating more often now that I'm not so overwhelmed by the experience. I'll put up a lot of my assignments and stuff so I can have all of my art in one place on my computer! Anyway, so...uh...yeah. That's about all I have for now.

The reason that I'm submitting so many pieces lately is because I have my AP Art portfolio due soon. My concentration is expressing burdens in my life through self portraits. So, um......yeah. I usually don't draw/photograph so much of me.

I once heard that self portraits allow the veiwer to see how the artists veiws themselves or how the artist WANTS to be seen. Sometimes it even reveals how the artist thinks others see them. So I would say that self portraits are pretty important! I used to think that it was really vain and prideful in a way. But now that I'm doing a whole series of them, I can see that isn't the case.

Long story short: I matured artistically and allowed myself time off to study a bit more. Now i'm going to college and am trying to get my portfolio together to submit! Any feedback is good! Goodness, It's been a really long time...
